2) <(as we are) talking> = 부사절

    = we (주어) + are (be 동사) → 생략

    = as (부사 접속사) → 생략

3) I (주어) + would ask (동사) + questions (목적어)

4) so ~ that = 【결과】 매우 ~하여 ~하다

    = Daphne (주어) + could not answer (동사)

    = Daphne, [who had/has + her sharp memory and fund of family stories]

    = Daphne, [having + her sharp memory and fund of family stories] 

    = Daphne, [with + her sharp memory and fund of family stories]  →  Daphne를 뒤에서 꾸미는 형용사

                         (who had/has = having = with)

우리 넷은 앉아서 이야기를 나누곤 했고, 내가 너무나 많은 질문을 해서, 기억력 좋고 가족 이야기를 많이 알고 있던/있는 Daphne도 질문에 항상 답할 수는 없었다.
